Weaving Workshop 2010-09-15 9:00 to 4:00 Spend a half or full day with Sylvia Foy in her three-loom studio weaving a table runner or a set of coasters to take home. You will learn to use a warping mill, wind bobbins, sley the loom and wind a warp on the loom. Then you will select the colours for your project and weave a table runner or coasters. Those attending the full day session will make both. Sylvia will explain the intricacies of various types of fibre and their appropriate use. Half day sessions are 3 hours while full day sessions are 6 hours. Pre-registration is required. Half Day: $90 for 1 person and $82.50/pp for 2 persons. Full Day: $150 for 1 person and $125/pp for 2 persons. Workshops are held every second Wednesday from July to October.
